Jennifer Dasal
Jennifer Dasal is an art historian and is the creator and host of the ArtCurious Podcast, an internationally popular, bi-weekly show exposing “the unexpected, the slightly odd, and the strangely wonderful in art history.” It was chosen as one of PC Magazine’s Best Podcasts of the Year for four years in a row (2018-2021), and it was selected as one of the Best History Podcasts of 2019 by O, the Oprah Magazine. In September 2020, Dasal’s first book, ArtCurious: Stories of the Unexpected, Slightly Odd, and Strangely Wonderful in Art History, was released by Penguin Books. The book has already received a much coveted “starred” review from Publishers Weekly and highlighted in BookPage, BookList, and other publications.
Dasal is the former curator of modern and contemporary art at the North Carolina Museum of Art (NCMA), where she worked for thirteen years. She received her BA in art history from the University of California, Davis and her MA in art history from the University of Notre Dame, and she has completed PhD coursework in art history at the Pennsylvania State University. Prior to joining the NCMA in 2008, she was the curatorial assistant to the curator of Western art at the Snite Museum, University of Notre Dame, Notre Dame, Indiana, and at the Richard L. Nelson Art Gallery, University of California, Davis.

Steve Prince
Steve A. Prince, a native of New Orleans, Louisiana, is the Director of Engagement and Distinguished Artist in Residence at the Muscarelle Museum at William and Mary. He received his BFA from Xavier University of Louisiana and his MFA in Printmaking and Sculpture from Michigan State University and has shown his art internationally in various solo, group, and juried exhibitions. Prince received several honors for his art and scholarship including the 2010 Teacher of the Year for the City of Hampton and has participated in several residencies including the 2007 Partners of the Americas Artist in Residence in Santa Catarina, Brazil. Prince has lectured and conducted workshops in both secular and sacred settings internationally in a variety of media. Many of his hands-on workshops and community-based projects have culminated in the creation of permanent communal based artworks. Among his public works are an 8 x 8 ft. mixed media work entitled Lemonade: A Picture of America created in 2017 to commemorate the first three African American students in residence at William & Mary and The Links Project created in coordination with the Muscarelle Museum of Art’s 2019 – 2020 exhibition 1619 / 2019. He spreads a message of hope and renewal to the global community through the cathartic funerary tradition from New Orleans called the Dirge and Second Line operating under the credo, “your imagination is your only limitation.”
